The National Fire Protection Association recommends that chimneys, fireplaces and vents be inspected at least once a year. Inspections A level one inspection is recommended when a homeowner performs the routine maintenance and cleaning of their appliance. In a level one inspection our certified technician will inspect that the chimney structure is sound and free of combustible deposits. A level two inspection is recommended when a new heating appliance is installed or the type of fuel is being changed. It is also recommended after any event which may have compromised the integrity of the appliance or chimney.
